It's that time of year to start planning for your Spring/Summer vegetable gardens. Since our little raptors enjoyed our winter garden so much, we are considering moving our kitchen garden or covering it with mesh to keep the ladies out.
Greenhouse on the horizon
Last year I tried to use a temporary greenhouse until such time that we could build one, and that ended up being a disaster since the Florida sun cooked my seedlings. This year we are a little more organized on the farm and plan to deconstruct an old shed out back to be a permanent greenhouse, where I'll do most of my gardening work. And perhaps build some hoop houses as well. So stay tuned for progress on those projects!
